- A fee of $25 is charged for each certificate, payable when the certificate is collected.
  
  For marriages that took place before 1930, there is a fee of $50 which is payable before we do the research.
  
  Please note that the certificate we will issue is not the same as a Civil Marriage Certificate. If you are actually looking to order a civil marriage certificate, you must request one through Service Ontario.
  
  For reasons of confidentiality, certificates of marriage will be issued only to one or both spouses or members of their families.

- You will be contacted as soon as the certificate is ready. A minimum of 48 hours is required. It may take longer during wedding and tourist seasons.
